There are two mPort models available for connecting devices to the mFi network. The mPort has two mFi RJ45 connectors and a terminal block connector. The mPort Serial features RS232/422/485 serial connectivity through a standard DB9 serial port or a terminal block connector. Both have built-in WiFi and Ethernet to connect to the IP network.
Supports up to 3 sensors that can be easily attached through standard Cat5 Ethernet cable. The mPort features built-in Wi-Fi and Ethernet to attach the sensors to the IP network. Once connected, the mFi controller software enables complete control over all connected sensors.
mPort Serial features RS232 serial connectivity through a standard DB9 serial port. Once a machine is connected through the serial interface, the mPort Serial can attach to the IP network using built-in Wi-Fi or Ethernet. From there, a terminal screen can be launched through the mFi controller software to control the connected machine. The mPort Serial also features an external antenna connector to support longer range industrial applications.
Ubiquiti offers a variety of sensors to connect to the mPort and your mFi network. These sensors connect to the mPort using a standard RJ45 cable, except for the mFi-DS, which connects using a terminal block connector.
Current Sensor (mFi-CS) is a clip-on, alternating current (AC) sensor. It is designed for current monitoring of motors, lighting equipment, industrial hardware, or other AC electrical loads.
Door Sensor (mFi-DS) is a magnetic switch sensor. It is designed to detect open entry points, such as doors, windows, or other physical enclosures.
Ceiling Mount Motion Sensor
Ceiling Mount Motion Sensor (mFi-MSC) is a dual-technology motion sensor, using both passive infrared and microwave motion sensors to minimize the likelihood of false detections. It is wall-mountable and designed for security, occupancy detection, resource scheduling, and other smart building applications.
Wall Mount Motion Sensor

Temperature Sensor (mFi-THS) is a wall-mountable sensor. It is designed for HVAC monitoring, climate data acquisition, and other smart building applications.
