RADIUS fails on Windows after upgrade to Prizm 3.0

RELEASE: 3.0
PROBLEM DESCRIPTION: If you upgrade Prizm from Release 2.1 to 3.0 on a Windows platform, your RADIUS server may stop authenticating elements. This can happen regardless of whether your Prizm server is licensed for BAM-only functionality or full Prizm functionality. The upgrade has no effect on authentication where RADIUS is not deployed or where Prizm resides on a Linux platform.
ADDITIONAL INFORMATION : Installation instructions are as follows:
- Change the name of \bin\authserver.exe to \bin\authserver.exe.orig.
- Copy the new authserver.exe into \bin.
- Restart the Prizm server using the Services Control Panel.
- Attempt to authenticate.
HOW ISSUE WAS RESOLVED/WORK AROUND: A reworking of the of the authserver.exe fixes the authentication issue with Radius.
